Off to do some House-sitting / Art / Other Shtuff.
in a couple of days. Looking forward to it. Molly the (English?) Setter looks forward to my being there. Frederick the cat might deign to make a few appearances during that week.
And I am curious to see if I can pin myself down to some practice drawing and writing while I am there. (The draw of 500 channels, especially any sci-fi or horror stuff, is close to irresistable).

(This comic is a bit of a mix. If anyone who comes by here does read it: I wouldn't call it Conservative or Liberal in its' view... just Life. The author pretty much leaves it to you to decide. I only mention this because Kat put it in those terms)
After reading up this one, and just recently watching an Anime movie- 'Black Magic, M-66'- I've decided that the eyes interest me. I try to draw Realistically when I draw anthros; but for Thunderwing and myself to do our own online comic, I shall have to develope a different style. 'Better Days' is pushing me in that direction. I need to Simplfy if I am going to be able to create several strips a week. Mind you, this is still at least a year away. (Sooner if I work harder).
And finally...
(this one deals partly with the Politics forum on DA, the art site I post to) I find it amusing how the Blinkered Bridage on the Pol Forum works so hard to ignore information that counters what they want to believe. To them, everything is the fault of that Evil US. I could wish it wasn't going to take the Fall of the US (thanks to the efforts of those they believe in), for them to see just how Bad things can get. I know I do worry too much. And those closest to me, continue to tell me these things will not happen.
I'll believe it when I do NOT see it happening. God Help Us All if I / We all DO see it happening. The bad times that will bring, will last years if not Decades.
...Yeah. My mood is still out of whack. But sometimes that seems the Only time I manage serious writing. Pity my poor Thunderwing*, if to become a Sci-Fi / Fantasy writer, I have to be a Grump all the time!

In any case: I shall not be posting again until I return home. Stay safe!
